St Andrew's UMC offers a variety of music ministries. All ministries are always open to join anytime. In addition, there are always opportunities to help with tech! Where is God calling you?
Gospel Road Praise Band
We are 10 talented, dedicated, musicians and vocalists providing praise and worship through music at the 9 am contemporary worship service each Sunday.
Gospel Road was formed October 2015 and has grown in size, and repertoire. We play traditional praise music, as well as the newer contemporary music found on radio stations such as “K-Love”. The music is upbeat. We strive to energize the congregation and support the message through select musical pieces.
Gospel Road is:

Debbie Gillman: Saxophone
Dwayne Dearing: Guitar, Vocals
Judie Stebner: Piano
Terry Gillman: Drums, Percussion
Rob Cochran: Bass

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a volunteer choir made up of youth and adults who provide music at the 11 am worship service each Sunday. There is no audition or try out for the choir. The ability to read music is preferred but not required. The one qualification you must meet is that you enjoy singing praises to God. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 10:20 am. Please contact the church office for more information.
Psalm 95:1 “Come; let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us shout aloud to the Rock of Our Salvation!”
Bell Choir
Under the leadership of Linda Macgregor, the Bell Choir plays in our 11 am worship service about once a month. Most of the St. Andrew’s ringers have had little or no musical background prior to joining this melodious group.
Throughout its 30+ years of existence, “The Bells” have performed for church services, local nursing homes, nursery school classes, fundraisers, weddings, and in the private homes of our “shut-ins.”
“Summer Family Bells” is a unique opportunity for our Church members, families and friends (ages 3-93 years) to experience “the joy of ringing.” In just 3-4 practice sessions, participants learn a few basic handbell techniques and then share their new musical talents during one of our Church services.
Since 1990 over 160 people have participated in at least one of our “Bell Choirs.”
If you would like to join “The Bells” please contact Linda Macgregor.
Children’s Choir
The children learn songs and perform at special times in services during the year.
